Every 2026 FIFA World Cup match airs free in Mexico on Canal 5 / Las Estrellas and TV Azteca, with TUDN on Sky and Izzi cable carrying the full slate and ViX+ streaming every fixture. As co-host alongside the USA and Canada, Mexico stages 13 matches across Estadio Azteca, Estadio BBVA in Monterrey and Estadio Akron in Guadalajara.
The TelevisaUnivision / TV Azteca split makes 2026 the most accessible World Cup in Mexican history — 32 marquee matches air free-to-air on each network, including every El Tri group game, the final on July 19 and the bulk of the knockout phase. ViX+ adds the 72 fixtures that fall outside the free-TV window, so cord-cutters can stream the full tournament without a cable login. TUDN remains the destination for studio analysis and the pan-Latin American Spanish-language feed sold across Sky México, Izzi and Totalplay.
El Tri opens the tournament on Thursday June 11 at Estadio Azteca, the first stadium ever to host three World Cups (1970, 1986, 2026). Group A action plays out across all three host nations, with kick-off times localized to CST and CDT for Mexico-based fans. Mexico’s second and third group fixtures land at Estadio Akron (Guadalajara) on June 18 and Estadio BBVA (Monterrey) on June 24, both on free TV across Canal 5, TV Azteca and TUDN.
