Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-25

This Privacy Policy explains what information wheniskickoff.com (“we”, “us”, “the Service”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. wheniskickoff.com is a free, independent website that publishes FIFA World Cup 2026 match schedules in your local timezone, broadcaster information, and optional email reminders. The Service is operated by EPAK Vibes, an independent publisher.

1. Summary

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. The only personal information we ask for is an email address, and only if you choose to sign up for a match reminder. Reminder delivery is operated through our partner beep.me. We use the address solely to send the reminders you requested, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any reminder email.

Information collected automatically. When advertising and analytics are enabled (see consent below), third-party services may collect standard technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, and cookie identifiers. Your browser also stores small amounts of data locally (for example your selected country, theme preference, and consent choice) so the site works the way you left it; this local data stays on your device.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar local-storage technologies for three purposes:

4. Advertising — Google AdSense and third-party vendors

We use Google AdSense to display advertising on this site. In connection with serving ads:

5. Your consent choices (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, advertising and analytics cookies are set to denied by default. We show a consent message powered by a consent management platform (CMP) on your first visit, and no analytics or advertising cookies load until you make a choice. We implement Google Consent Mode v2, so your choice is passed to Google’s tags before they load. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the controls in the consent prompt, or by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser, after which you will be asked again on your next visit.

Outside these regions, where local law allows, analytics and advertising may load without a prompt; you can still opt out using the advertising links in section 4.

6. Affiliate links

Some outbound links to broadcasters and streaming services are affiliate links (for example via Adtraction). If you click one and subscribe, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, and the affiliate network may set its own cookie to attribute the referral. This never affects which broadcasters we list. See our Disclaimer for our editorial policy.

7. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent for analytics and advertising cookies; performance of your request to send the reminders you sign up for; and our legitimate interest in operating and securing a free service. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out beforehand.

8. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. Information is processed by the service providers that make the site work: Google (AdSense advertising and Analytics), beep.me (reminder delivery), Adtraction (affiliate attribution), and Microsoft Azure (website hosting). These providers process data under their own privacy policies and our agreements with them.

9. International transfers

Some of our providers (notably Google and beep.me) may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Data retention

Reminder email addresses are kept only as long as needed to deliver the reminders you requested and are removed when you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ configured retention period. Advertising cookies expire on the vendor’s own schedule.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights — including deleting a reminder email address — reach us through our contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
